In the next room a grey skinned dwarf is discovered. The group storms in and kills him finding a magical war hammer and a potion.

Back up the shaft to explore the level above. Through a door and down a hallway. Three doors are found. Zapa enters one of the doors and enters a room that appears to be a kitchen. There are two grey dwarves that appear to be cooks. Zapa attempts to stab one of them in the back. They begin screaming. Zapa yells “Wheres the fucking gold” as he attacks. He knocks one of them to his knees. They attack back… but miss. He continues to yell wheres the gold as he finishes them off.
Through another door into a hall with several rooms that have bunk beds.
Zapa kills a sleeping dwarf. Into another room where there is a group that has barricaded themselves with a large table. The group attacks.
All are killed and searched. A potion is found. Back into the hall Zapa attempts to pick a locked door. A stone block falls from the ceiling. He takes minor damage from a glancing blow. Da’Nog then smashes the door.
There are four large orcs in the room. Max uses the wand of polymorph to turn one into a platypus and another into a badger. The other two are killed by Da’Nog and Ronj.
On to another door that is locked. As Zapa tries to pick the lock he falls into a pit trap in front of the door. He takes minor damage and is lowered a rope.
Max uses the ring of xray vision and discovers a secret door at the end of the hall. Through the door and into another passageway.
Max and Greenleaf use stone shape to tunnel into the room behind the pit trap. Max locks the pit door and the group enters. There are several other doors. One is a closet with decorative weapons. Another is barred and locked. Thud smashes the door in and enters. Tall armored and hooded figures carry poisoned green swords. Battles begins. Da’Nog brings one down as Ronj shatters his own left with his right. Another cursed 1.
The third door is a coal bin. The group backtracks looking for another room and Greenleaf finds a secret door.
Zapa checks the door for traps and finds none. He then tries to pick the lock but is unsuccessful.
Thud bashes in the door. Several statues of orcs and a troll are in the room. There is also a 4 x 4 alter made of bones. The bard claims that the alter is some sort of Tharzidunian alter that has been desecrated. Scraping is heard from the other side of the alter. Two large monsters are seen chained to the wall beyond. The are human bodies with crab exoskeletons and falcon heads. Max turns one into a pig and the other is killed by Thud.
Upon leaving the room two of the statues animate. Ronj and Max are struck in the back with poisoned spears but both save. Max turns one into a catfish and The other is killed by Ronj with two strong blows.
Through another door into a room that is a priests living quarters. There is a door in the room as well as a desk, bed and table. The door leads to a closet filled with women’s clothing as well as perfumes and bedding. A door in the closet leads to another room where Greenleaf finds a human female sleeping. Zapa charms her and discovers that she belongs to the priest. Da’Nog has his way with her and she is taken to please him.
The group travels back to the winch and up they go with the wench to another level.

The party tries to find another way around to attack the dwarves and trogs.
Into another room where there are two doors. behind one of the doors are five of the large orcs. Thud and Ronj kill two outright with 20’s. The drow move in and kill the other three.
162 gold, 5 platinum and a key are found in the bodies.
The group comes across a room with several trogs and some orcs. The trogledites are turning a giant spit with bison and setting tables. The group takes the initiative and moves in to kill the orcs. After killing the orcs the trogledites begin serving the group portions of bison.
The group leaves with two human slaves armed with orc axes and shields. A secret door is found and leads to a room with hundreds of gold plated items. Thud insists on taking some for the Thudheim stores. Greenleaf discovers another secret door leading to a 30′ shaft. The group lowers themselves down with the winch to a room full of gold, several trogladite slaves and other items. The slaves begin shoveling gold plated coins onto the winch.
The party lowers Ronj to the lowest level to investigate. A tunnel is found that leads to a huge hall with two giant orc statues holding up the ceiling. A voice wispers from behind Ronj. “Nasty outsiders” Ronj turns and runs back to the group. The group travels in another direction. into another room where old bedrolls are found. Nothing of value is found and the group moves on to a food storage hall.
On to another room that has four bared cells. All of the cells have orcs.
The group finds a room with serving tables and bottles of brandy. There are four gray skinned dwarves in the room.
Thud moves into the room and they attack. Ronj and Da’Nog move in and battle begins. The dwarves are killed in 5 rounds of combat.
From the opposite hall comes a group of sixteen soldiers. Max casts lightning bolt and uses his staff to double the effect. The soldiers are wiped out and the group advances killing the few survivors.
A door is found and forced open. Webs fill the room beyond. Da’Nog and Greenleaf use their flaming weapons to destroy the webs and spiders. More gold plated items are found.
On to the next door where a tunnel leads back to another hallway.
