The EFK arrives back at Gurdy’s with the young and vital “old cud” now addressed as Clarindon of the Singing Sword. Gurdy is pleased that the group has been kind to Clarindon and informs them that the recovered crystal is the shard of Finding. It does not radiate magic as it’s dwoemer has been hidden. Clarindon decides to join the party out of admiration and appreciation. Gurdy warns the group that others can detect the shard of writing. One of the two shards in the group’s possession. She sends the group to the great swamp along the mountains to the south to find another shard.
The group sets out on horses called into existence with the mount spell and then hasted for speed. When the hasted mount spells expire, Greenleaf casts Chariot of Sustar and the group is carried into the swamp lands. Suddenly a group of gryphons attack. From the back of the chariot, Daliance uses his new wand of fireballs to blast the gryphons. A few magic missiles later and the group is back on track over the swamp. As the Chariot spell expires, the party lands near a large stone manner house. The house is surrounded with what appears to be hangman trees. As the party approaches, they are attacked by a group of skeletons. Fireball, lightening and ice storm are cast by the magic users and the skeletons are devastated. Entering the manner house, the group is immediately attacked by another group of skeletons. The skeletons are quickly killed the old fashioned way. Crash, boom, Bash….
A stairway is discovered leading down to a basement. Investigation reveals the basement to be occupied by forty zombies. Daliance uses his hand wand of fireballs to fill the basement with explosive flame. All of the zombies are purified with fire. The group investigates the basement and are attacked by several wights. Clifford attacks killing several of them. A ghost then appears and the entire group ages by ten years instantly. Max uses his helm of brilliance to hold the ghost at bay while the rest of the group searches for the shard. When it is found is is used to release all of the undead from the house.
The party returns to Gurdy’s. She instructs the group to now seek the shard of shielding. The group departs using hasted mounts and then the chariot. Flying through an ornately carved box canyon the group lands in front of an massive archway. The party enters a massive banquet hall through a large set of double doors. Many skeletons are killed by Thud and Clifford. A secret door is discovered by Greenleaf and the group continues into a room with two wights and twenty skeletons. Clifford and Thud kill the wights and skeletons as they have protection from level drain.
Onward into a dressing room where a specter is encountered. The specter is killed by Thud and Daliance. After a brief search the group continues on to a bedroom chamber. There is an armored figure surrounded by skeletons. A vampire suddenly rises up from the bed. The magicians begin a massive onslaught of magic missiles. The vampire is overwhelmed by the more than twenty missiles in two rounds. The vampire turns to gas and a shard of crystal falls to the bed. The shard is quickly recovered by the group. They then uncovers the bed to find the vampires coffin. The coffin is pryed open and the vampire is stabbed through the heart with a wooden stake.
The group returns to Gurdy’s place in the village.

The druids return to Thudheim from Neverwinter. After adventure research, the party decides to head for the desert city on a lead for the dragon mountain. Upon arrival they stay at Crusty’s Tavern. Information is obtained and the group leaves the city for an outlying town named Harkurs Ferry. There in a small tavern they obtain information to seek out Lothar in Twin forks. He apparently has been to and has information regarding the Dragon Mountain. Max follows an individual leaving the tavern and the town. He discovers an ambush being set for the group just outside of Twin Forks. Max returns with the info and the party departs prepared. When they arrive, Greenleaf casts creeping doom and orders the mystical death to sweep the ambush area. All are killed and the party moves on into Twin Forks.
The group inquires as to where to find Lothar. As they approach they are caught in another ambush. Ice storm and cone of cold are cast and many attackers are frozen. Most of the attackers are killed, a female magic user lies died in the street, and the others flee. Lothar has fled his residence.
Shares, the newest member of the EFK, cuts a hole in the head of the dead magic user. He removes a portion of brain and begins chanting a spell. He then eats the portion of brain and gains some of the knowledge of the dead magic user.
The group takes the Lothar residence for the evening. Later there is a disturbance heard outside. Lord Ovulus (obviously a paladin) has come to investigate the disturbance. He questions the group and requires that they remain for an inquiry the following day. The party satiates the assumed authority of the do-gooder. In the inquiry, though disapproving of the group in itself, Lord Ovulus must release the efk as they were ambushed and merely defended themselves…
Using the info gained by the Shares brain eating spell, the group travels to another village where they discover that Lothar has stolen and departed in a magical ship that sails over land and sea.
With Lothar gone the group decides to seek other sources of information regarding the dragon mountain. A map is available but the cost is 50,000 gold. Clifford decides that it would be noble and generous to purchase the map for the benefit of the party. After all, he made plenty on copies of the map of the plane of fire…
In the bottom corner of the acquired dragon map there is an image of the amulet that is required for the map to work. With more paid research the group departs to find Gurdy. Supposedly an old woman who knows where to find the amulet. The group meets with Gurday, though some understand that she is not as old and decrepid as she appears. The witch tells the party that they must slay a nine headed hydra and return it’s possessions.
While planning their attack, the party travels to the lair of the hydra. Greenleaf summons an earth elemental and the massive creature enters the lair. Bashes, Booms and a loud Crash is heard from within. The party stands somewhat in amazement and happily surprised that the earth elemental took care of the hydra.
All of the items are returned to Gurdy. The amulet needed for the map is the Amulet of Dragon Warding. It has been split into three pieces. Gurdy sends the group to seek old Cud for information regarding the first shard of the amulet. She warns the group to be kind to the old seer.
It is a three day hike to Shells Head to find Old Cud’s antique shop. Several members enter the antique shop. Max uses charm to convince old cud to let the group search his shop. The shard of amulet is found. Greenleaf touches the crystal to the forehead of old cud and he becomes noticeably younger and in better health. He digs out a sword from the back of the shop and departs with the group.

From Thudheim, Greenleaf and Max travel to the council of Druids. There Greenleaf fights for his twelfth level. The battle is glorious and he is reduced to 2 hit points before his opponent falls.
Back in Thudheim, Daliance builds a house within the walls and Clifford establishes a tavern.
Rumors spread of trolls are raiding shipments from Thudheim. The group sets out for the moors to investigate the troll rumors. After all, this is Thudmeister Splatski’s realm.

After days of recon the group discovers a small town. Thud is well liked here. The group acquires a map of the surrounding lands and travels on. A minor encounter in the swamp is dissolved by a tripled magic missile from Daliance. Later in the day the group discovers a single orc farmer living in a stone cottage. He is Goruinistark, boomshroom farmer of the High Moor. He is growing boomshrooms. Mushrooms the explode when harvested. A natural mine field…
Max trades a potion of longevity for a jar of boomshroom fungus.
Departing the fun farm the group continues looking for the troll raiders. Max and Greenleaf fly circular recon as invisible birds. The next day a group of orcs and an earth elemental are spotted retreating from the group half a days travel ahead. The group decides not to follow the encounter and continues on over a mesa and down into the lowlands. From the air Greenleaf spots a half elf female ranger tracking the party. He and Max land and question the ranger. She is the assistant of the Bear Druid. (The Druid Greenleaf beat at the last council)
The ranger is allowed to leave unharmed and the group travels on.
The next day brings the party to a set of steaming lakes surrounded by small hills. On one side is a giant sink hole and on the other is a stone cottage on a small hill. A red dragon is spotted flying away from the steam pools.
The party investigates the pools. Daliance soaks his feet in the outermost pool. Then the party investigates the stone cottage. It is obvious that a druid lives here. There is a blind type window in one side of the cottage allowing a clear view of the steam pools. Back to the steam pools. Control temperature is used to investigate the inner area of the field of pools. Five dragon eggs are discovered. Max casts know alignment on the eggs and they all emanate lawful good. Leaving the steaming pools a lake is spotted with an island in the center.
There is a two headed troll on the island. Lord Thud speaks with the troll and discovers the he is trapped on the island. He claims that the lake is filled with undead creatures. Rainbow is cast and the two headed troll is set free. He thanks the party and says the he lives with the druid Yosil. Yosil watches the pools from the stone cabin. The troll has not seen the high level druid in over a tenday.
The group decides to depart the valley and move on. As they leave a red dragon is seen landing near the eggs. The dragon carefully turns each egg and fly’s away. Max leaves the party and follows the dragon as an invisible eagle. Less than two days of flight brings the dragon to a volcano where it lands at the mouth of a giant cave and enters. Max studies several land marks and returns to the party.
The party leaves the valley of the steam pools and returns to the village where Thud is well liked. Thud decides to accept an offer to eat the psychedelic slugs. Thud eats two slugs, straightens up… and falls over with a “thud”. Greenleaf casts neutralize poison while laughing at his half ogre friend.
Max returns to find the group and Thud recovering from his sluggish trip.
Thud and the party lose interest in the raiding trolls and depart for the volcano. (the only troll encountered was set free…)
Less than a tenday of travel brings the group to the volcano. It takes max several days to find the cave entrance. The group then waits five more days before the dragon is spotted leaving to tend the eggs. When the dragon leaves it casts a magical force over the entrance of the cave. Dispel magic is cast several times before the shield falls. Bells sound within the cave and the group rushes in. Max gives Greenleaf a potion of treasure finding and GL turns into a sparrow. Flying throughout the cave and tunnels he finds a vertical shaft that leads to a smaller cave. A mountain of coin and jewels are spotted beyond several fountains. It is obvious that the dragon is female as there are many stunning jewels, dresses and bobbles. The group ascends the shaft and quickly grabs everything they can carry. After loading up on everything that detects magic, jewels, jewelery and platinum, the group descends the shaft and exits the cave. A nervous trip is made toward Thudheim. Max and Greenleaf fly to Neverwinter to unload the loot in an attempt to cover the party’s tracks…
