Father was sole provider and came down with disease and couldn’t afford healing (too rich to be poor enough to be healed for free, too poor to be rich enough to be healed for payment). Unable to afford healing he passed away. Mother lost everything and had to send children away. Is currently prostitute. Sniffles wants others to feel his pain. Looking to infect the middle class figuring rich can get healing. Perhaps widespread pandemic will make society change how they take care of the sick. Will heal the poor for free, especially the working girl class.

Diggin is the youngest of a large brood, even by Dwarven standards. As the smallest of MANY, he was left mostly to his own devices, and pretty much raised himself.
The first and only gift from his father was a small axe, which Diggin named “Axe”. Since then, many axes have come into his possession, and Diggin has always called them “Axe” … Diggin believes that “Axe” is an extension of himself, and each axe he owns takes that key place in his life. He has known since that very first axe from his father, that his real partner axe is out there, waiting for him, and each axe he owns along the way is just a place holder, allowing him to keep the faith as it were, until The Axe crosses his path.
Axe understands him and is his only friend.
Kegdrain Hammersong

A dwarf from the Grail Keep on the Prustan Peninsula. He traveled to Ptolus to further his pursuit of technology and magic. He believes that both have value in his future. He is interested in learning more about the Shull as well as the Inverted Pyramid. Though his attire is somewhat formal, he tries to be subdued and stealthy. He is not interested in attracting attention to himself and would rather let his actions build his reputation. Although his alignment is Neutral Evil he would prefer not to be known for evil deeds. At least for now…
Zaal Lamii

After 60 years of Elvish collectivism, Zaal grew weary and joined some merchants moving cargo around on the high seas which eventually lead to a gig on a pirate ship as a raider/archer. While on the ship, Zaal became good friends with the ship’s wizard. The wizard gradually noticed Zaal’s intelligence and innate magical abilities and offered him an apprenticeship. Six months after gaining his first level of spell mastery, the ship was anchored in a “secret” harbor, when the pirates were attacked by two ships of do gooders. During the attack, Zaal noticed his master crumple to the ground and feebly start spouting gibberish. Zaal took this as a sign and retreated to his master’s cabin, locked the door, drank two “in case of emergency” potions (inviso and fly), grabbed what he could, including his current spell book and magic ring, and fled. After wandering around for a while, he hooked up with Kegdrain and Digin which lead him to his current situation.
