		<description>Hmm perhaps the rod is ruin protected to prevent the joining of the peices. In which case we be spinning our wheels. Well hopefully if that is true it was just a one off.</description>

....when Barada attempts to join the two pieces a rune is seen to briefly glow on the first bit...just before the second piece vanishes altogether! 

Subsequently, Barada feels the familiar &#039;pull&#039; that leads to the second piece. Or, at least, it led to the second piece the last time you followed it.  No reason to think that has changed. 

The implications are that the group is on a quest to recover the piece that they just had a minute ago...</description>
