Father was sole provider and came down with disease and couldn’t afford healing (too rich to be poor enough to be healed for free, too poor to be rich enough to be healed for payment). Unable to afford healing he passed away. Mother lost everything and had to send children away. Is currently prostitute. Sniffles wants others to feel his pain. Looking to infect the middle class figuring rich can get healing. Perhaps widespread pandemic will make society change how they take care of the sick. Will heal the poor for free, especially the working girl class.

It all started with his grandpa meeting a demon on the road. Years later, Bayga met a a wandering technologist and was set on the path of worshiping the mighty Baalhazor. With dreams of furthering the advancement of technology and chaostech, he aims to start a temple of Baalhazor in Ptolus!

A dwarf from the Grail Keep on the Prustan Peninsula. He traveled to Ptolus to further his pursuit of technology and magic. He believes that both have value in his future. He is interested in learning more about the Shull as well as the Inverted Pyramid. Though his attire is somewhat formal, he tries to be subdued and stealthy. He is not interested in attracting attention to himself and would rather let his actions build his reputation. Although his alignment is Neutral Evil he would prefer not to be known for evil deeds. At least for now…


Zaal-Lamii

Zaal Lamii

After 60 years of Elvish collectivism, Zaal grew weary and joined some merchants moving cargo around on the high seas which eventually lead to a gig on a pirate ship as a raider/archer. While on the ship, Zaal became good friends with the ship’s wizard. The wizard gradually noticed Zaal’s intelligence and innate magical abilities and offered him an apprenticeship. Six months after gaining his first level of spell mastery, the ship was anchored in a “secret” harbor, when the pirates were attacked by two ships of do gooders. During the attack, Zaal noticed his master crumple to the ground and feebly start spouting gibberish. Zaal took this as a sign and retreated to his master’s cabin, locked the door, drank two “in case of emergency” potions (inviso and fly), grabbed what he could, including his current spell book and magic ring, and fled. After wandering around for a while, he hooked up with Kegdrain and Digin which lead him to his current situation.


Fingers

Clan Finigan is known for producing sociopaths. Most end up leading the masses, but some end up stabbing them asses.
Russ T was one of the latter, and displayed behavior disturbing enough to eventually get him banished to the woods, just like some of his more murderous cousins.
One of these cousins traded Russ T to a wood hermit in return for funds to start life in Ptolus. The hermit delighted in tormenting Russ T with a running update of the bastard’s adventuring life, including his participation in an adventuring party.
Russ was vigilant, and when the hermit let slip one detail too many, Killer Russ T was born. The hermit’s funds financed a trip to Ptolus to kill, but by the time he arrived he was recruited as a replacement for the first Fingers.


Kæl Keinijås

Kæl Keinijås is the product of an unlikely tryst between a Shoal elf sailor and a tavern wench. Without much guidance as a youth, he fell in with the dockside crowd. His willingness to do what was needed and his natural abilities gave him a path to the top in one of the gangs. Although gangs’ fortunes ebb and flow, his longevity gave him a ubiquitous presence in the crime scene of Trolone.
He was recruited by Bort Balsag to function as a caravan guard, but his elvish blood gave him advantages over a mere meat-shield and he became a ranger for the Balsag Shipping Consortium. Bort, Bayga’s grandfather, used Kæl’s services for several decades as he grew the enterprise. Kæl knew that Bayga had left for Ptolus several years ago, and rumors had surfaced of his involvement with several outlandish events so it seemed natural to seek him out upon his return – even moreso since that return seemed calculated to avoid drawing attention…
