Magic Potions & Trogledite Sweat

The group then approaches the tower complex and heads towards what looks to be stables. Dwarves guard the stables and want a tax upon leaving of 7% of what is recovered or each adventurer must take the great risk…
The EFK enters through stables, and heads down a set of stairs killing many zombies along the way.

Into giant room with manure mounds to the ceiling. Group guesses it is from the stables above.
Max drinks potion of treasure finding. Two directions are detected. One leads to where the dwarves guard the entrance and the other leads down.
The group begins to explore for a way down and comes across a long narrow room with arrow slots leading out from alcoves in the wall. In each alcove is a skeleton. Thud and Da’Nog attack and begin moving down the hall. Thud is fighting with his fist leaving bones on the floor with each blow. Moving on Max says that they are going the wrong way according to the potion. The group turns around and seeks another passage.
Reversing direction the party enters a room that appears to be a kitchen. There are four zombies one is writhing with rot grubs. The group retreats and max casts magic missile on the rot grub infested zombie. It is destroyed. Thud and Da’Nog finish off the other three.

Through the kitchen and on to a door.. Zapa listens and then opens the door. Two spears launch through the door and into Thud. Thud is healed. Into the pantry and Greenleaf detects a secret trap door in the floor. Zapa picks the lock and the group proceeds down a steep stairway single file.
Down sixty feet and dropping into a room. Three fresh zombies greet Thud but he quickly dispatches them. Into another room where Thud finds many dead bodies that look like adventurers. Thud breaks down doors that lead to a room filled with hanging bodies ordered by type. A Clerics lab the group presumes.
Greenleaf finds a conceilled door within the large room.
Through the door and down a winding tunnel. Into a room where there are orcs that appear to be large, fat and muscular as if they were sumo orcs. Da’Nog kills the first with a 20. Snapping its neck as if it were a twig.

The party stops to rest and heal. An hour later they descend the stairs. Into a room with another group of four oversized orcs.
The group attacks miserably with multiple 1’s. Thud is hit by Ronj twice for a total of 35hp. The orcs are eventually killed and the room explored. Max casts detect magic. A chest on a table is magical.
Zapa opens the chest and needle fingered hands crawl out of the chest and up his arm. His tiki mask protects him. Zapa takes big damage but the hands are killed by the group. As it turns out the hands are magical and there is no gain. Nasty hands.

Moving on to the next room. It is long with an inside balcony all the way around with stairs leading up. At the other end of the room is a set of double doors. As the group enters a cask is thrown from above and smashes on the floor. A clear liquid splashes with the stench of trogledite sweat overcomes the group.
The party rushes the room. Up the stairs and Ronj delivers a crushing blow to the body guard of an individual reading a scroll. As he finishes Ronj becomes petrified. Two bowmen on the balcony fire arrows at Thud and Zapa but both miss their targets. Da’Nog approaches the scroll reader and hacks him down after two rounds.

Through the double doors into an ovular room with smoldering heaps of incense/wood. Zapa summons four armed drow and send them in to investigate. Battle ensues and the drow kill four troglodytes. The party moves into a small room that has a door that opens to stairs leading up. There is also a secret door in the room claims Greenleaf. Thud forces it open. The passage beyond leads to a curved stairway up into a large room full of rows of fungus. Moving through the rows are troglodytes and two gray skinned Dwarfs.
