Through the room of dead and Dalliance is almost possessed by eeeeebil spirits – but she isn’t. Then out and about and around and down and into a room full of invisible gorgons and Ron’j! gets stoned twice, but in the end all is well again.
The group explores a few rooms and eventually stumbles across the room of many hilts, but some exploration reveals the true one and it is swiftly plundered and the group exits the region even more swiftly.
Back to the Sabre River island home of the seer – past the polite medusa doorguard, through the maze of disarmed traps and back to the Seer’s room. There the Seer congratulates them on their perseverance. He summons Cutter and whambo! – transforms Cutter into a sabre blade that is now joined to the Sabre. The Seer is transformed into a death dealing machine that is completely immune to magics of any kind! ooooo snap!
Ron’j! disarms the Seer and tosses the blade to Nil – and Nil runs him through with a savage strike. Hooray – the Seer sees no more!
Then, the Cutterblade tells the party they must stab the heart of the river or the curse will never end. So…away they go on the next leg.
