Three Towers

The group makes their way back to Thudheim and begins to look for another opportunity for wealth or death…
The bard has returned with henchmen as well – henchfolk? – and between the three of them they bear some most interesting news as well. In the furthest reaches of the Lurkwood, there exist a trio of ruined towers long left untouched. Some barbarians fleeing the destruction of Hellgate Keep apparently wandered into the area – most perished, but enough survived for the tale to escape to the outside world. They speak of huge amounts of golden treasures scattered about the area and deadly encounters with the forest elves. This information is at least 1 year old…
Zappa’s Henchfolk are female(F) and male (M), thief and fighter, respectively. They offer the following bits of information…
The three towers are called tower of: war, power, Zagig – though there is disagreement about which is which. Zagig is a wizard of legend – some say he is Halaster of Undermountain. The surviving barbarians amassed sums of wealth in the 100Kgp range.
The newly formed group departs for the three towers.
Five days into their journey the druids spot the infamous towers on the horizon.
Back on the road the party sees a group paralleling them perhaps to attempt an ambush. (A little pre grudge softening) Several rounds of melee and some spectacular moves by Ronj the monk brings victory from the random encounter.
The druids arrive to guide the rest of the group to the towers.
On the ninth day the entire group arrives at the three towers.
The three towers are perched on a raised mountain in the center of what looks to be a giant crater. A stone bridge arches 1,000 feet across the ravine between the edge of the crater and the three towers. Two black pyramids sit adjacent to one of the towers. In front of another tower is a huge statue of a perched falcon.
Smoke is rising from the two outer towers presumably war and power. The party chooses to enter the middle tower thinking it to be the tower of Zagig.

Hmmmph everyone invisible except Da’Nog. Me no like invisible peoples. Get mad when Da’Nog step on foot. How me suppose to know they there. Da’Nog cannot help those he cannot see and those who could not see Da’Nog in trouble cannot help. Me no like invisible. Still this much better than spinning rock. Perhaps we find shinny rocks that do not spin but spend. Da’Nog like those.
