Rock to Mud… Back to Thud… heim

The group decides to exit and attack the dwarves.
Max turns into an invisible eagle and flys out. Then transforms back to human and casts rock to mud on the dwarven fortress. Then Greenleaf casts rainbow bridge for the group to cross the vast pit. As the group crests the top of the bridge Max casts another rock to mud on the fortress and one of the corner walls collapses. A contingent of dwarves exits the fortress and begins to charge towards the bridge. Max casts Fireball on the entrance and the large tower on top of the fortress collapses and casuses major destruction.
Battle ensues in front of the dwarven compound. The group fights their way in. Max sees the three dwarves that were with the group trying to escape. Several magic missiles were cast. But the dwarves escape. Inside the fortress an office type room is found. A secret compartment is found in the floor. Thud takes a magical jolt of electricity when opening the compartment. several large bars of gold are found and converted to gems with the scale.
In addition 2 magical maces, magical plate, magic chain, magic hammer and a scroll tube are found. The group leaves their destruction behind with pride and returns to Thudheim. Read about the current events in the latest edition of Thudrumbles.
Treasure is divided.
After much debate on what to do next it is decided to return to the three towers.
The black tower is now guarded by a group of elves. The EFK camps and observes.
